1-Ceremony
The majority of Polish weddings ( Sluby ) begin in a church and end with an early-morning party. The service is typically conducted by a pastor dating polish women, and two testimonies are needed.
2-Oczepiny
The bride needs to be “released” from her lady position before the church service can start. With her papa and a group of friends, she leaves her home. Generally, the group will erect obstacles and make amusing attempts to prevent her from leaving. Typically, the bride does sob, remove her hat, and bid her maiden rank farewell. All of this is being done as her clique sings the oldest known Polish bridal music, Chmielu, Oj Chrmiellu.
Bread and salt, number three
To ensure that the brides will have enough food for their fresh wedding, bread and salt are typically served at the reception. The brides will sample the bread and season it with sugar. Additionally, they consume a killed of liquor and toss their eyeglasses behind them, which should crack in an effort to frighten away evil spirits.
The ceremony pie, also known as Kolaczki, is another option. It is very similar to the northern ones, but the engaged partners can add as many sections as they like. Before they can nourish their friends, the couple cuts the initial piece and feeds each other.
